How Does The Class Conduct?

BCM Institute's learning programme consists of e-learning, self-study and assignments, and scheduled workshops where you can interact with your facilitators and fellow participants.

Participants will have to attend successfully and complete BCM Institute’s Module 1: E-learning; participants will be invited to four (4) sessions of Module 2: Facilitated Online Workshop (one hour per each session), two (2) sessions of Module 3: Facilitated Online Workshop and two (2) session of Module 4: Facilitated Workshop.

At the course's end, participants must complete and pass the Qualifying Business Continuity Certified Lead Auditor (BCCLA) exam. Upon passing the examination, they are automatically awarded Business Continuity Certified Planner (Audit). The certificate allows them to upgrade the BCCLA certification upon proof of three years or more of BCM experience.

BCM-8030: ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System Auditor

Module 1

This ISO 22301 fundamental is ideal for a new BCM practitioner who would like to know the end-to-end process of starting a BCM plan for their organisation and maintaining it once it has been implemented through online learning.

Module 2

Provides the participants with hands-on experience in using a customized template to review the BCM audit framework. This is primarily achieved through the equipping of internal auditors and Organization BCM Coordinators with the requisite skills, tools and knowledge to plan, control and eventually lead BCM-related audits by the requirements of ISO 22301 Standard.

Module 3

Module 3 would then take the participants through what is expected of an ISO 22301 BCMS auditor. They will be taught how to conduct audit fieldwork and present their findings.

Module 1

The participants will be able to understand the key areas and considerations when auditing the BCMS. The participant can develop the audit and compliance strategy by understanding the BCMS framework and requirements aligned to the ISO22301 standards and the audit process.

Module 4
Participants will be expected to complete the review and audit the BCMS requirements of a business continuity program based on a case study organisation or a live BCMS portal. 

In summary, participants should be able to:
- Determine non-conformities of BCMS requirements based on ISO22301.
- Write non-conformity audit reports.
- Know the areas for follow-up and corrective actions after the audit.
