Our Operational Resilience course covers various topics, from operational disruption, identification of critical-important business services, analysis, and determining its impact tolerance. You'll learn how to create a culture of resilience within your organization and develop effective communication and coordination strategies during times of crisis.
How Does The Class Conduct?
BCM Institute's learning programme consists of pre-reading, assignments, and scheduled workshops where you can interact with your facilitators and fellow participants. Currently, it offers a two-module (OR-3) course.
Participants will practice these concepts:- Build an Operational Resilience Programme
- Recognize and analyze types of operational disruptions
- Identify important business services
- Set appropriate impact tolerances for critical-important business services
- Map operational resilience across the organization
- Perform scenario testing
- Communicate operational resilience plans effectively
Participants should attempt to contextualise the theory with your organization’s examples. It is meant to ground you with the complete set of OR knowledge.
These courses require the participant to sit for a qualifying examination at the end of the session, pass the exam and show proof of at least one year (for OR certified specialist or ORCS certification).
