Module 1
Module 1 ensures that the participants are grounded on continuing with a good understanding of IT disaster recovery planning. The need for DR, how the organization manage the project, adopts a planning methodology, and finally, engages external support via a request for proposal.
Module 2
Allow participants to gain intermediate competency in implementing an IT DRP plan. In this module, one would learn to conduct a risk assessment, impact analysis, technical considerations for DR planning and strategy. There would be pre-readings for each stage, followed by a two (2) 3-hour facilitated online workshop and facilitated discussion per stage of the competency taught.
DRP-400: IT Disaster Recovery Manager
Start Date: 21 January 2025
End Date: 11 February 2025
NOTE: The pre-requisite to attend this course is to complete the DRP-300: IT Disaster Recovery Implementer
Module 3
Participants will have pre-reading on presenting a DR proposal to senior management and establishing a DR plan and team structure. Module 3 transit from an operational view to more strategic topics in managing IT DR in organizations, the challenges encountered, and various approaches to dealing with them.
Module 4
Participants are to have pre-reading on linking to business units, assembling DR Plans and implementing and managing DR Plans. It would allow the participants to have a systematic understanding of the management of DR program and its implementation.
